Time to brain dump what she actually knows about the Carbon Destroyer. How it will spread (inevitably, irreparably), and how in time it will infect every being of every kingdom of life. From the greatest beast to the tiniest cell, sooner or later the poison will touch every strand of DNA on the planet. All that lives will begin to rot. Not right away. Not even in a single generation. But bit by bit, life will shut down. Until only the tiniest multicellular beings are left, and then the single cells, and then not even them. Perhaps a few simple enough viruses will survive. Perhaps someday they will be able to create “life” again on this sterilized world.
